The happiest moments of any parents are those moments that are important to their children, such as the birth of the child, his/her first birthday, first day at school, etc. Likewise, my happiest moment was of course seeing the birth of Minh Tri. Now, today we celebrate his first birthday. Also, at the same time, I am able to see the joyful laughter and curiosity on Minh Tri’s face when he tearing his way through all the presents.
Today, Minh Tri was so excited with so many people at our house that he didn’t have his mid-morning and mid-afternoon naps – he only had totally half an hour of sleep instead of the normal 3.5 hours. Maybe Minh Tri knows it was his birthday so he didn’t sleep and sooking a bit. The funniest thing was as soon as he cut his birthday cake and his mum carried him up, he fell asleep on his mum’s shoulder within 5 seconds. However, few seconds later his uncle, Tuan, gave him the Li Xi (red lucky envelope with money inside) he suddently awake, grabbed the Li Xi and fell back to sleep again.
My wife is very happy seeing Minh Tri is happy today. I also feel very happy seeing both of them happy.
